September is the month of change. It's the time when we can start over and make ourselves better, for the sake of our mental health.

We know that self-care is important—but it's also hard. We're always so busy doing other things, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to take care of ourselves. That's why we've created this 30-day challenge to help you make self-care a priority in your daily life.

Each day will have a different activity with it—some are quick, others are more involved. They're all designed to help you start taking better care of yourself, so you can feel better than ever!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

You are an artist.

I know it's hard to believe, but I'm telling you the truth.

The world needs you to tell your story through whatever medium is right for you. The world needs your voice to be heard. And even if no one ever reads this or sees your paintings or hears your songs, even if you never sell a single thing. That doesn't mean that what you're doing isn't important. It doesn't mean that it doesn't matter because it doesn't make money. Because here's the thing: art is not about making money— it’s about sharing something with the world so that people can feel what you felt when you created it. It's about connecting with other people through words or images or sounds and making them feel something real and true and important in their lives too!

So keep creating! Keep being yourself! And remember: there will always be someone who wants to hear what you have to say. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

If you're feeling like you can't do something, that's okay. Start over. You can always start over.

There will be times in your life when you feel like you have to keep going in the same direction, even if it's not what you want. It can feel like there's no way out of the current path you're on, but I'm here to remind you—it's okay to start over.

You don't have to stay where you are just because it's familiar or easy. You do have the option to change whenever you want!

If you managed to read this far, I recently got denied a loan application, my car got wrecked, and the girl I loved said she only sees me as a brother. It's been a tough week, but I'm going to keep going because I know that if I don't try again, nothing will change. And that's not good enough for me!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣Let’s celebrate the hard work and success of our immigrant mothers and fathers. Our parents came from far away and worked hard to give us a better life. And now that we've made it here, we have an opportunity to make our own life better than theirs. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Today’s motivational quote is from the Mexican actor Mario Moreno Cantinflas: “Lo difícil lo hago de inmediato. Lo imposible me tardo un poquito más.” This translates to: “The difficult I do immediately; the impossible takes me a little longer.”

This is a great reminder to us all that we can do anything we set our minds to—but it may take some time! The important thing is getting started and continuing on until the task is complete.
