The #2 reason most people never start posting is because they’re waiting on gear they don’t need. I’ve been asked about my setup more times than I can count throughout this whole journey , people expect a full studio, lights, the whole thing. What I actually use might make you feel a little silly for waiting. Less than most people have sitting around right now.

Het always rises. In summer your attic gets to 130-150 degrees. That hot air wants to move into the cooler part of your house, and it does it through gaps you can’t see: around lights, vents, the attic hatch, gaps in the framing.

So you crank the AC. But the AC isn’t really cooling a room. It’s fighting hot air that keeps sneaking in through those gaps. It runs nonstop, your bill climbs, and the room still won’t cool down.
Here’s the part most people miss. Regular fluffy insulation only slows heat down. It doesn’t block air. The gaps are still wide open, so the hot air keeps coming.

Foam does two jobs at once. It slows the heat AND seals the gaps shut. Now the air stops moving, and your AC finally gets to cool the room instead of fighting a leak it can’t win.
Slow the heat, seal the air. That’s the whole game.

We film every job so you can see the gaps before we close them up.
