Field Service Technicians are primarily responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting & repairing overhead crane systems. Familiarity with gear drives, bearings, couplings, wire rope hoists, chain hoists, VFD controls, remote control systems as well as other crane & hoist components.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform Scheduled preventive maintenance
- Effectively interface with customer and HSC customer service to communicate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Inspect, Evaluate and make professional recommendations of repairs based on industry guidelines (OSHA, CMMA, NEC & ANCI)
- Maintain professional rapport with customers by efferently responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting issues, and completing jobs within an acceptable timeframe.
- Communicate with the customer on the repairs and any recommend preventive maintenance and/or inspection that may be required to monitor the crane system
- Occasional paid travel with $50/day Per Diem
