📢 President Trump Announces New Travel Ban

On June 4, 2025, President Donald Trump signed a proclamation restricting travel from 19 countries, citing national security and public safety concerns.

🚫 Full Ban (12 countries):
Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen.

⚠️ Partial Restrictions (7 countries):
Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, Venezuela.

Exemptions:
Lawful permanent residents, certain visa holders, adoptees, religious minorities, and athletes in international events.

🕛 Takes effect:
June 9, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. ET
