This one’s been 14 years in the making…

Since getting out of the Navy in 2011…..pregnant, unsure, and starting over. I’ve been chasing this goal. I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I knew I had to keep going.

I started at Northampton Community College in my hometown in Bethlehem, PA. Then Harper College in Palatine, IL. Then to Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach. Then a few semesters at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Back to Northampton. Then even a few classes Central Texas College in Killeen. And now…..San Jacinto Community College in Houston.

In between?
Divorce.
Moving.
Childbirth.
Homelessness.
Mental health struggles.
Financial aid drama.
Failed classes.
Missed deadlines.
Life.

And still…I NEVER STOPPED TRYING‼️

This upcoming year, I graduate with my Associate’s in Education in May 2026. I’m overwhelmed with pride. I kept believing in a version of me I hadn’t even met yet.

This is what Tha Wellness Jawn is all about.
Wellness isn’t always pretty. It’s choosing yourself….AGAIN AND AGAIN.
It’s pushing forward when life keeps knocking you down.
It’s the courage to keep becoming.

This one’s for every mama, veteran, and dreamer still on the path. You’re not alone.
