Watch out Katy hairdressers…
I been out sharpening last few days in Katy and what I am seeing is a bunch of messed up convex edge shears being beveled off heavy.
Which means your nice $500+ price shears that are designed convex are being grinded down.

Be sure to ask your sharpener if they have a convex flat hone.
If they do not then pass on it.
It’s not worth it for your own shears.

Also came across a stylist today that told me to be careful with her hanzo’s.
This is what she gave me.
An etched in H from someone who was selling fake hanzo’s and did a horrible job trying to make the H.

Not sure if it’s this sharpener guy or not.

Lot of shady people out there
Be wise.
