សម្លកកូរ Samlor kokor (Mixed vegetable soup)
It is a healthy soup with many vegetables inside. It is different from other soup that has only few vegetables together. This dish combines of at least 5-6 kind of vegetables. That's why they call it Kokor (mixing things together).
Samlar kako is a Cambodian soup dish that has been around for generations. The Khmer word for it is samlar kako, and it is pronounced [sml kkou]. Additionally, it is considered to be one of the national foods of Cambodia. The ingredients that go into Samlar Kako are as follows: green kroeung, prahok, roasted ground rice, catfish, pork or chicken, vegetables, fruits, and other herbs.
In contrast to many other Khmer recipes, this one may be prepared in a single pot and yet be considered a complete dinner due to the fact that it has all the necessary components. Some people like it better when it is prepared as a vegetarian dish, in which instead of the fish and meat, coconut cream and vegetable stock are used.

វិធីធ្វើ សម្លការីនំបញ្ចុក, Chicken Curry Noodle Soup
After soaking the rice for two to four hours, it is ground into a thin paste to create the num banhchok. In calico bags, the paste is dried after being shaped into rounds. The mixture is then ground into a thick paste and extruded into boiling water. After 3–4 minutes of boiling, the noodles are drained and placed in cold water.
Popular Khmer folklore about prominent revolutionary and scholar Thonchey includes Num Banhchok. After being sent to China by the Khmer monarch, Thonchey started producing num banhchok to support himself. The meal immediately became well-liked among Chinese people and, eventually, even the Chinese emperor became interested in it. To transport num banhchok to his palace, the monarch sent for Thonchey. When Thonchey came, he managed to observe the emperor's face as he was eating the food, insulted him, and was then taken into jail. Thonchey quickly obtained his parole and went back to the Khmer Empire.
The disbanded Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) began imprisoning former members and sympathizers in May 2019 for attending noodle dinners[5] that were seen as political events. Sam Rainsy, co-founder of the CNRP, responded by requesting that all Cambodians come together for num banhchok on June 9 "for the sake of friendship in the context of the entire, gigantic Cambodian family."
He was quickly joined in his appeals by Prime Minister Hun Sen, who urged the members of his Cambodian People's Party to get together the same day and partake in "Khmer noodles of unity and solidarity," but claimed that this was a precursor to talks with the opposition.
Sen predicted that 7 to 8 million people will partake in the eating of num banhchok on June 9.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts started putting together a proposal for the inclusion of num banhchok in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists two months after Sen suggested starting a marketing campaign to promote Cambodian cuisine and culture.
