We are hiring a Safety Specialist:

Company Description

Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Safety Specialist located in Dulles, Virginia. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for conducting daily health and safety inspections, developing and delivering safety training programs, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. The role involves close collaboration with management to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications
Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health skills
Experience in Safety Training and developing safety protocols
Accident Investigation skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and conduct on-site assessments
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
Relevant certifications in health and safety is a plus
CSHO
OHST
OSHA 510 or 500
NFPA 70E
3-7 years experience

This project-based opportunity has full-time potential. The current project will be from 1-3 years, The schedule will vary, however, the expectation for the position is a minimum of 40 hours weekly to 70 hours weekly. This is a 1099 contract; depending on experience, and ranges from $60-65K salary. You must reside in the area and able to commute successfully for day-to-day operation. The schedule is M-F; however, flexibility is a must for certain circumstances. Please reach out with your resume and your interest.
