GSD Guinness

In loving memory of GSD Guinness, a canvas was painted to commemorate his life. Some knew him as 5G15, G-Dog but I called him Guinness Stout, Guinny and he was an amazing companion.

My boy graduated to Heaven on Wednesday May 3rd and it was a sad day for all that knew him. His hind legs were giving out in March and he was being treated for hip dysplasia. It seemed as though he was getting better and obviously not able to run and do the things he did when he was younger, but then in May he started bleeding from his nose and had a turn for the worse in days to follow. 

We returned to the veterinarians office who this time noticed a lump on his abdomen, which initiated an ultrasound. The test showed that he had multiple tumors on his spleen and was bleeding internally. At this point, I realized he was in pain and was not living the life he was used to living. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, but he did live an amazing life.

He retired with six puppies in NY before moving down south in 2016. He will always be remembered and I’m sure , and I will get to play together again some day in the future. Rest In Peace my G-Dog. 02/05/15-05/03/23
