1. You have to do A-LOT of research

• learn about the wedding industry: Many brides have no idea what they are walking into when they first begin their wedding planning journey, that’s normal! Do your research and ask wedding planning professionals for assistance.

2. Creating a realistic wedding budget

• Budget realities and hidden cost: This one goes hand in hand with your research. Many brides underestimate the cost of a wedding. Before locking in a venue or vendors, have an honest discussion about your overall spending limit.

3. When to book each vendor

• Ask a professional for planning timeline recommendations: Also going hand in hand with research, be sure to stay informed on when you should book specific vendors. It’s never too early to ask questions and check on availability!

4. The importance of delegation and asking for help

• You can’t do it all: Where are my type A brides at? Planning every little detail can become overwhelming. Enlist help from your fiancé, friends, wedding professionals, and family who genuinely want to assist.

5. You will not be able to please everyone

• This isn’t about anyone else: Where are my people pleasing girlies at? Hey girl, I understand. It’s important to remember that ultimately, you have to do what’s best for you and your fiancé.

2025 Wedding Trends // I would like to preface this by saying these are TRENDS and just because it’s a trend doesn’t mean it’s for everyone. Remember, you will look back on your wedding day for the rest of your life.

10 wedding trends of 2025 ⬇️

1. AUTHENTICITY OVER TRADITION: using unique items and ideas that don’t follow the norm or tradition.

2. PERSONALIZATION: branding your wedding day.

3. MULTI-DAY EXPERIENCES: wedding celebrations over a span of multiple days. Example: Welcome parties on a boat, after party pool day, brunch on the beach, etc.

4. CONTENT CREATION: a wedding vendor we all knew we needed. 2024 brought it, 2025 is going to demand it.

5. FLORALS & FRUIT: incorporating fruit into floral arrangements and using it in replace of.

6. SERPENTINE DINING: curves, that’s all.

7. DOCUMENTARY STYLE PHOTOGRAPHY: couples are desiring authentic reactions rather than posed.
