We just installed the iSpring tankless reverse osmosis system and it’s been such a cool upgrade for the kitchen. It filters up to 500 gallons of water per day, removes contaminants like lead, chlorine, and fluoride, and even remineralizes the water to improve taste and balance pH.

Definitely a necessary evil, especially if you let it get hard over night.

I find a green 3M 3M Abrasives scrub pad and water can get off thin layers of dried thinset without risking the use of a razor utility blade.
