This 5 year mark of .malus.burlesque at was especially significant. Not only because of the style, collaboration and panache, but because of comraderie, care, and discipline of our cast and crew.
This is my third year celebrating Samhain in this cast, and it has held me in indescribable ways through the dark and the light.
Congratulations, my loves on winning Outstanding Dance Performance for 2024 with . Especially whose devotion and leadership inspires me. I am humbled to be a small part of the magick.

SWAP events are geared to share your most precious possessions with your creative community. Items that you cared for, loved, used, and connected with on a deeper level. This is not a place for stained t-shirts or socks with holes in the heel, this is a place to SHARE an item that no longer suits your personality, body shape, lifestyle, etc. A beloved gift from an ancestor that you no longer have the psychic or physical space to store. An item or object that contains something substantial and sacred with the collective. Perhaps our possessions have their own unique purpose in circulating through different homes.
Imagine a SWAP being a revolving library, metaphysical shop, boutique, or supply store. What if we are stewards instead of owners? What if we could re-define our relationships to our possessions to become more free and balanced versions of ourselves? What if we harness the energy of 2025- the Year of the Snake- to practice conscious consumerism by participating in alternative consumption?
