Hurricane / Weather Tip of the Day (June 3, 2026)
Hurricane-season reminder: the Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1–Nov 30 — now’s a good time to check your plan.

Quick preparedness actions today:

Make or review a 72-hour emergency kit (water — 1 gal/person/day, nonperishable food, flashlight, batteries, meds, phone charger).

Save local emergency numbers and an evacuation route; keep vehicle fuel at least half full.

Move outdoor items that could become projectiles into a garage or secure them.

Monitor local forecasts and alerts (NWS / local emergency management) if a storm is approaching.
