ICYMI: The Trump administration says they’ll revoke passports from thousands of parents who still owe child support. Starting today, the State department will go after people who owe $100K or more, then go after people who owe more than $2500 which is the threshold set by a little-enforced 1996 law. The department says revoking passports for those who owe child support strengthens compliance with U-S laws and supports the welfare of American kids.
Delta Airlines is cutting costs by removing a perk from short flights that many travelers expect. Starting in two weeks Delta will stop offering free snacks or drinks on flights under 350 miles. The changes are expected to begin on May 19, but Delta First customers will continue to receive full service on all flights. United and American Airlines have already cut complimentary snacks and drinks on their shorter flights.
New this morning, an expanded recall on frozen pizzas that could potentially make you sick. That’s according to a notice from the USDA. The recall now includes two frozen pizzas sold at Walmart. Great Value’s Thin and stuffed Crust Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas. According to the agency, the recall concerns a potential salmonella outbreak in meat and poultry products prepared with a previously recalled dry milk powder.
