Texas heat isn’t just uncomfortable, it's dangerous.

And it’s not just inmates — correctional officers and prison staff are forced to work long shifts in these same dangerous conditions, risking heat exhaustion, dehydration, and long-term health impacts. No one should be subjected to extreme heat — especially those who are responsible for keeping the prison safe each day.

Attorneys for Texas prisoners say the conditions expose inmates and staff to dangerously high temperatures and have caused several deaths. bit.ly/40Y2mVb
