Let’s gooo!!

Okay this seems really obvious I know but hear me out…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think I find myself over and over again in a place of “I’ve been following God for a while and I feel his spirit in church so I must be displaying fruit”. Or “I know this true for my relationship with God so I can share it and it will be true for everyone in every season”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Like just by being a Christian I this now produce fruit and it’s easy to share it because what’s good for me is good for everyone.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And the message here is saying “look out for people producing bad fruit” or distorting the gospel.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I was reminded that even IF my message is 100% biblically accurate, with the very best intentions, and meant to give life but it is not delivered in a way that is GENTLE, KIND, PATIENT, HUMBLE, etc… no matter how well meaning…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is still bad fruit.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even if there’s a Bible verse about it. Even if I know the context.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If I’m not inviting God into it- it’s still bad fruit.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even if I feel like it’s an obvious matter of life or death and my words may be the only chance someone could see the other way… it’s still bad fruit.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We cannot wish our way into goodness. We cannot say the right words to persuade someone into goodness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The only way to truly know and share the gospel is to let the spirit take over our words, our feeds, our lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I’m going to be taking a minute to pause today. To let every interaction be lead first with prayer and surrender.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let our lives be spirit led- dispute our good intentions
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✨Who else is needing to let go and let God today?✨

The struggle is real but we serve a God who knows the answers.

He knows how to redeem and restore.

He sees our brokenness and offers healing and understanding.

So I’m calling on it today! God I don’t understand and I want your wisdom! Let’s say it louder.
