I was so excited today to get to see the Valley Lodge Trail riders On Katy Freeway today! I was in search of the Salt Grass trail riders and found the Valley Lodge trail riders instead right by Memorial City Mall. The last time I went to take a drone video at these apartments, shortly after, they were set on fire likely by the individuals inside. I just saw KHOU 11 do a segment to which these apartments are finally going to be coming down. There currently is security inside these abandoned apartments. For work last week, I got to travel to Round Top Texas. Everyone I know keeps thinking I'm saying Round Rock, but I'm not. This little town has a fun shopping experience that takes place twice a year if I am not mistaken and hundreds of vendors for miles down TX-237 Washington Street. It's a fun event and you never know what you'll find. I took a drone video for you guys to check out and shine light on this small town. This intersection, for those who travel through it have probably noticed an exceptional increase in traffic overflow. I took this drone video to highlight a couple of issues that this intersection is causing . For one, this intersection used to have a rush hour cycle, like many of the intersections in Houston have, to where the cycles for each signals stay green longer to try and accommodate the traffic more efficiently for that time of day. The light, now, is currently only green for 12 seconds at a time and is not handling the traffic efficiently as indicated in the video. In addition to the incorrectly timed lights, the exit and entrance ramp for Wilcrest is closed, which forces many off to the Beltway Frontage, as the next exit is Kirkwood. The reason for my documentation of this is because dozens of people are cutting through parking lots nearby and it poses a safety issue for everyone who is at this intersection. With citycentre on the other side, this intersection does not need anymore problems. The traffic conditions shown in this video are not normal, and have gone out of hand. Let me know what you think.
