Thanks to you, Harbour’s Around Healing Happy Hour was filled with connection, gratitude, and purpose. We celebrated the volunteers who give their time so generously, welcomed new Beacon Donors, and shared how your support brings hope and rest to cancer patients and their families.

Incoming President Brian Hungerford spoke about why Friday Harbour matters to him and the importance of keeping it strong for years to come. Founder Brian Hall shared how your gifts make a difference right now and the vision to reach more cities in the future.

Friday Harbour helps ease the burden for cancer patients by providing free hotel stays during treatment at MD Anderson. This support is made possible thanks to generous donors who believe no one should face cancer alone.

In April, our Cancer Patient Lodging Program provided 115 nights of free hotel stays to 42 cancer patients and their caregivers, supporting a total of 83 guests. Behind every night is a story of travel for treatment, of financial stress lifted, of families staying close during the hardest moments.

Friday Harbour makes these stays possible, offering a place of comfort and relief when it’s needed most.

I am in a trial at MD Anderson and it is quite expensive traveling weekly from Waco, Texas to Houston for 1–2 nights depending on treatment needed.
