THE LEGACY CONTINUES. 🏁⚖️
Before she made history in the Texas Senate and the halls of Congress, Barbara Jordan was making history right here at the Houston Lawyers Association as our first woman president.
Her legacy reminds us that leadership is not simply about breaking barriers, but creating opportunities for those who follow.
On November 20, HLA will honor that legacy through our inaugural Barbara Jordan Scholarship & Leadership Breakfast, celebrating excellence and investing in the next generation of legal leaders.
🎓 $18,500 in scholarships
🏆 3 Barbara Jordan Leadership Awards
🎤 Keynote Speaker: Kaitlyn Menefee Kaitlyn Denise
The legacy was built. Now it’s our responsibility to sustain it.
Join us in making this new tradition a success!
