Hurricane Harvey update: Cary (Jensen) told me that our house is fine: 4 ft more and we'd have had water in the house so we are very lucky. But Cary determined that we are pretty much the highest house, or one of the highest, on the lake for our little 700+ home subdivision. Many, many neighbors' houses flooded and he spent the last two days helping remove stuff, debris and then ripped up carpeting from the entire 1st floor of a house 5 -6 doors down from us. Cary searched out people who didn't have help in our neighborhood.
I'm out of town so facebook and phone/text have been a mainstay for me this past week. Has it only been a week?
