IJ Realty-History of Business

IJ Realty LLC was birthed out of the Owner’s vision to leave a legacy through her works in helping others obtain their dream of homeownership, as well as educating them on creating wealth through owning real estate.

While working full-time with Harris County and the city of Houston a total of 28 years, Iva S. Jarmon, the owner of IJ Realty LLC, worked continuously on her real estate business for four years; part-time. In May 2011 she stepped out on faith and began working the business full-time.

On January 13, 2011, IJ Realty LLC was established. The team grew to having one broker owner, one broker associate, three agents and one transaction coordinator on board, totaling over 35 years of real estate experience. The business was originally located on Pinemont Drive for more than 3 years. To keep up with the unprecedented growth, the company relocated to 2950 Northwest Freeway in 2018.

The brokerage is a Certified Woman Owned Small Business, a minority Women Business Enterprise, and a National Minority Business Enterprise affiliated withe Houston Minority Supplier Development Council.
