Quick update on text blasting. It still is working; however, you must take advantage of it now as we are entering in our 3rd year since the 10 DLC laws went into place. Each year, the government does an update to combat spammers. Most recently, one of my "hacks / loopholes" I used to decrease our opt out rates got taken away.

Instead of saying "STOP" or "QUIT" in our opt out language, we used to say "NO", which allowed us to stay below the 3% opt out rate. Because "NO" responses did not trigger an automated opt out, it allowed us to stay at about 1% opt outs. Half of the people would respond back with "STOP" or "QUIT", and the other half would say "NO" based on what we had in our signature block.

If you're above the 3% opt out rate, you WILL RECEIVE A 24-HOUR BAN FROM SENDING TEXTS, REGARDLESS OF THE PLATFORM YOU'RE USING.

It is no longer possible to use the "NO" loophole, and you are now MANDATORY to use one of the required opt out words in your signature block.

Text blasting still works, but as you can see, things will start tightening up because scammers are finding workarounds to the laws. As a result, the business owners using texting ethically are getting punished as a result.

I highly suggest if you're looking to get deals this year and not getting results with cold calling, direct mail, RVM, voice broadcasting, PPL, or PPC, to consider texting because it outperforms ALL of the aforementioned marketing channels.

HOWEVER, the opportunity window may be closing. We're good for 2026, but things may change in 2027. If you're sleeping on it now, you will miss your opportunity.
