Proceeds of the loan will be used in the start-up of a new, minority-owned personal protective equipment manufacturing business in Houston, TX. This business will focus on the manufacturing of American-made, high-quality PPE to be sold to supply house distributors, hospitals, industrial painters, and more. The opening of this business will generate three new job opportunities in the Houston area. Waterstone LSP is pleased to announce the closing of a new SBA 7(a) loan in the amount of $4,500,000 as part of a $6 million financing package for a partner bank headquartered in Dallas, TX. Proceeds of the loan will be used in the acquisition of an existing hotel property operating in Tempe, AZ by a minority-owned new business formed for the acquisition. Not only will the loan fund the acquisition of the property, but it will provide working capital for the transition period during the change of ownership. Under new ownership the business will be owner managed, eliminating a third-party management company and creating 11 new jobs within the Tempe community. Proceeds of the loan will be used in the development of a new RV and storage facility in Delaware, OH, including purchasing land, construction, and funding working capital for this start-up business. The opening of this business will generate two new job openings within the Delaware community. Proceeds of the loan will be used in the start-up of a new daycare facility in Iowa Colony, TX, including the acquisition of land, construction of a new building, acquisition of new equipment, and working capital. This area is rapidly expanding and will benefit greatly from readily available childcare services. 24 new job opportunities will be generated within the Iowa Colony community with the funding of this loan, and it will support additional jobs for contractors, suppliers and vendors.
