This year at UBC’s Vacation Bible School, June 8-11, 8:30am–noon, we’ll visit Rainforest Falls, where kids explore the nature of God!
Rainforest Falls is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life.

What happens when a growing church faces a crisis—not from outside persecution, but from overlooked needs within? Acts 6 shows us the early church's powerful response when Greek-speaking widows were being forgotten in daily care.
The apostles didn't choose between compassion and proclamation. They chose BOTH. By creating wise systems and empowering others to serve, they expanded the church's capacity to care for the vulnerable AND boldly share the gospel. The result? The word of God spread, disciples multiplied, and even priests came to faith.
This week's challenge: Who are we overlooking? What gift has God given you to serve others? How can you both demonstrate Jesus' compassion AND speak His truth? The early church teaches us that when we care wisely, serve actively, and speak boldly, the gospel becomes unstoppable.
