Be Happy. Go Fast. Stay Pretty.

Quick trip to California this weekend for Wiley and Ashlyn’s wedding! It was a really pretty wedding at and we got to catch up with friends there, too. Congratulations and ♥️
We spent the day at Newport Beach when we got there Friday, went last minute shopping for Nick most of Saturday because I led him astray on dress code initially (hence the reason you see a picture of him forcing my suitcase closed because of his extra stuff), and Sunday we brunched and beached in Laguna Beach with Rick, Nick, and Sarah!
A good way to cap off our month of travel in May 🌊🏝️

May was a month of racing - and good results! We spent 3 weeks on the road going from Ohio, to Chicago, to North Carolina. And I just am a little behind on sharing that. Go figure 🤪
The inaugural Turn and Burn kicked off the month! And dad and I won our class - Unlimited Iron 🏆 Who doesn’t love a trophy that doubles as an ice cream holder?! We also were overall “winner” with lowest ET which for us is a big deal. Theres wasn’t an award which is fine - but we did battle it out with some fast cars and that was a big deal to us to know where we placed! The 55 performed so good and cracked off multiple 6.50 and low 6.60 passes. I love that car!
If you remember the weeks leading up to this, everyone was busy getting Uncle Sam wrapped up all the way to the very last second before leaving. So this was the first race for it. We were going to have multiple days of testing, but weather got us. So Nick made 1 half pass (accidental we learned 😂) before going straight to day 1 of competition where he just went for a full pass with a brand new combo… and ran a 6.78 🤯 Windows and driveshaft suffered some damage but we had that fixed and were back in the road not too late 😂 I can say though, once I realized he made a full pass I immediately thought, “dang… I hope that fuel and spark map is right…” because I built the tune right before we left and he didn’t make passes to check anything out. But it was all super safe. So I have to say thanks , your guys classes work and give so much confidence for situations like this! Plus, all the and components worked perfect 👌🏻 He placed 3rd in his class and placed 1st in DYO! Winning!
Thank you to Mickey Thompson and Summit Motorsports Park for putting so much time and effort into making this an event for everyone to enjoy with real racing and side quests everywhere you turned!
