Outta Control Cookers

This picture is from this year's Jamie's Hope Charity Golf Tournament. Jamie's Hope is a non profit organization whose mission is to assist with cancer research by raising money and volunteering in our community.

My company was part of a BBQ cooking team that won a trophy at the tournament. The pictured prize is not a golf trophy. It is a trophy for the best BBQ at the tournament.

My point is make a commitment to do something and just do it. Don't get too caught up in what you are not strong in. That's why team building is important. Know your role and don't flake out. If you know you are not the best at something go find someone who is and y'all work to make positive things happen. Kenny Napper and Bubba Bennett did the cooking. My company helped with the food. Kenny kept the trophy. The math is a little sketchy when I got to the trophy. But, that is not the point of the story. Teamwork and common goals are what I wanted to highlight here.
