We had a gig cancelled because BMI-ASCAP is the new mob. They are charging venues huge sums of "Protection Money" every month to ALLOW them to have Live Music. This practice is nationwide and is putting clubs and bands out of business. Its time to do something about this. Musicians should have a right to work and clubs should be allowed to have live music.
