The benefits of a Day Program versus in-home care are well documented! Activities such as cognitive games, art projects and reminiscing stimulate memory and communications skills and are important in preserving brain function and moments of connection.

Importantly, caregivers also have the added benefits of greatly needed respite and more productive work schedules. Studies have found that caregivers who used adult day services reported lower stress and the ability to maintain their relationships for longer than those who did not.

As you see, the benefits keep adding up when considering the cost of Amazing Place’s Day Program versus paid home care for someone in the early stages of the disease.

With everything it offers, it’s hard to find a better value than our Day Program whether it’s for one or five days per week – and if you are interested, we currently have openings in our Day Program at both campuses. Visit our website to learn more and schedule a tour! 💙

What a wonderful evening! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Amazing Dinner West last Thursday night as we celebrated our new Katy campus and the 30th anniversary for Amazing Place. We are incredibly grateful to our co-chairs Vicky and Tony Georgas and Vicky and Robert Tillerson for their leadership and to everyone who made the evening such a success, including a special musical performance from the and a very inspiring talk about brain health from keynote speaker 🧠

Proceeds from the event support Amazing Place operating costs so we can provide the Day Program at an affordable rate and our Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, Caregiver Support and Brain Health Education free of charge. Generosity shown this evening will help us meet the growing needs of families facing dementia in our community. We are grateful 💙
