We had a problem at my house for the longest time at Thanksgiving! I purchased a beautiful Sputnik chandelier for my dining room. Although beautiful, it had EIGHTEEN edison bulbs. Let me tell you yhe problems with that...

1. You had to wear 2 pairs of sunglasses to be in that room, it was SO bright!

2. You felt like you got licked by a solar flare when you walked in, SO HOT!

3. My wall almost caught on fire because the switch couldnt handle all of the wattage.

WELL, I wish I worked for Parco Electric back then! They can help think of these issues before you even have to experience them! This is what they would have done.

1. Put a dimmer in! (DOH)

2. Replace the regular edison with LED edison! (omg im not on fire anymore!)

3. Put in a state of the art, special order switch that can handle that type of wattage. (took me 3 DAYS of phone calls to find one!)

Bottom line, if you are wanting a quick update to your living room before you host Thanksgiving, DONT DIY IT! Just dont. Instead, call the Master electricians at Parco Home Services to handle it for you saving you MONEY & TIME while you focus on the important stuff...turkey!
