🚨 First customer-spec sample shipped. From pilot to product — we’re officially in motion. 💥

After designing, building, and commissioning our first-of-its-kind pilot plant, Cassini, Mars has shipped our first impurity-advantage acrylonitrile sample to one of our launch customers.

⚡️Demand for low-carbon acrylonitrile far outpaces supply for low-carbon acrylonitrile.
📦 Now, we’re changing that.

Huge thanks to our team of Planeteers and partners who helped get us here: , , and .

Let’s decarbonize materials, together. ♻️

Today, we had the honor of hosting at our pilot lab international delegates sponsored by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.

We ended the tour inspired by the efforts each delegate is undertaking to advance CCUS in their home country.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the opening of our pilot lab. Thank you again for our partners and for helping us bring this siting project to a close.

We're excited to continue on our carbon removal and industrial decarbonization work with y'all! 🤠

Thank you Bill Gates and Breakthrough Energy. As a Breakthrough Energy Fellows backed company, your support has enabled us to design, fabricate and commission our pilot unit. With the support of the BE network, we were also able to develop pilot plant siting capabilities that accelerated our relocation to Houston. It is truly an incredible time to be working on climate impactful technologies.

Mars Materials PBC is working on a clever technique for turning captured carbon into a key component of carbon fiber, a material used in everything from clothing to car frames. It was great to check out their lab!
