Kristian Falcon recently earned his PhD in Neuroscience from UT Health San Antonio, following a diverse scientific path that included academic and industry internships, roles at Millipore Sigma and Baylor College of Medicine, and research on tau protein aggregates during his PhD. Initially considering a teaching career, he ultimately chose research after exploring career options with the support of organizations like Enventure, SACNAS, and SMDP Biotech. He is now a postdoctoral fellow at Johnson & Johnson’s research facility in Spring House, PA. In this seminar, he will share insights on his career journey, networking experiences, job search strategies, and transition into industry.

She holds a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Pharmacology from Boston University and a B.S. in Biochemistry with a Minor in Pharmacology from the University of Vermont. Currently, Amanda serves as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Hematology at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), covering the New England region. Her professional journey includes significant roles within GSK's Esprit R&D program, where she contributed to US Medical Communications & Scientific Training, Hematology Pipeline, and Early Strategy & Innovation. Amanda has also held positions at Boston University Medical Campus and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she focused on program evaluation, career development, and community management. Amanda has received numerous GSK awards for her contributions to medical affairs and oncology. Amanda has a strong track record of fostering collaborations and partnerships to advance scientific and medical initiatives.
