Thirty years in the same house. And they almost left.

This couple had lived in their Woodland Heights bungalow since the early ’90s.

But it wasn’t working anymore. Small rooms. A cramped kitchen. No real office space for two people both working from home.

They bought land in the country thinking that was the answer. Turns out, they loved their neighborhood too much to leave.

So they called us instead.

What happened next is what the Design + Build process is all about. One team handled everything, from the first conversation about what wasn’t working, through design, through construction, all the way to move-in day. No handing off the plans to a separate contractor. No miscommunication between designer and builder.

The same people who helped them dream it up were the ones on-site making sure it happened right.

The result? A cramped warren of small rooms turned into a flowing, open home with a huge kitchen, a generous primary bath, new offices, a guest suite, and closets worth gushing about.

They even uncovered original 1920s shiplap hiding in the walls. We exposed it in the ceiling and made it a design feature.
