Some of us have mastered the art of emotional numbness, but know you can’t selectively numb emotions, when you numb the painful emotions, you also numb the positive emotions. As a result, numbing imprisons us emotionally, leading us to feeling empty and disconnected from life.
people who have experienced deep sadness or worthlessness often go out of their way to make others happy.
This behavior is rooted in empathy; having endured profound emotional pain, they understand how devastating it can be and strive to prevent others from suffering similarly.
Their efforts to bring joy to others help counteract their own sadness, creating a sense of purpose and connection.
While solitude and spending time alone can be beneficial, spending excessive time alone and constantly needing for personal space may be an indication that you do not feel comfortable being your true self when you are around others.
This discomfort might be caused by social anxiety, past negative experiences, and a lack of confidence in social interactions.
Buried emotions never die. They build in intensity until they resurface, causing more harm. To heal, we must process and release them.
“ A wounded heart can never fully heal, but it learn to beat stronger with every pain endured- unknown”
Some emotional wounds, especially those that touch the heart, can leave lasting scars that never completely fade. Yet, as we endure and overcome this pain, we become stronger.
Each painful experience helps the heart to adapt, grow, and find resilience, transforming suffering into strength and wisdom.
"Your relationships will significantly improve when you realize that you don't always have to respond to every concern or solve other people's problems. Often, people just want to feel heard and accepted.
True maturity involves recognizing and understanding that your role isn’t to rescue everyone but to support them by acknowledging and respecting their ability to handle their own challenges.”
