We are proud to highlight our three outstanding fellows who are currently interning and making a meaningful impact in our community. Through their dedication, fresh perspectives, and commitment to service, they are helping strengthen programs, support families, and expand opportunities for those we serve.

Their work reflects the power of global collaboration—bringing new ideas, cultural exchange, and innovative approaches that directly benefit our local community. From supporting outreach efforts to contributing to program development, their presence is already creating lasting value.

This opportunity is made possible through the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Programs, which foster international partnerships and empower emerging leaders to gain hands-on experience while making a difference. We are grateful to be part of a program that not only develops future changemakers but also enriches our community in the process.

🚨 MYTH BUSTED! 🚨

Some people think CACFP is only for low-income programs…

👀 Plot twist: It’s NOT!

🎉 FACT: ALL child care programs can participate!

That means if you run a child care home or center, you could be getting support to serve healthy meals & snacks for kids — and receive reimbursements while doing it.

🍎🥕🍞 Because feeding kids well shouldn’t mean doing it alone.

So if you’ve ever thought:
🤔 “Is CACFP even for me?”

The answer might surprise you.

🌱 Provider Resource Opportunity

PCCPA currently has a variety of surplus materials available that may help providers improve and maintain the spaces where children learn, play, and grow.

Some items available may include materials such as flooring, paint, light bulbs, refrigerator filters, tools, and even outdoor supplies that could support small projects like creating a learning garden where children can see how vegetables and plants grow.

Because supplies are limited, providers will be selected through a short application process, similar to a small resource grant opportunity. This helps ensure the materials go to programs where they can be most useful.

📍 Pickup Location: Sugar Land, TX
📦 Pickup Required

Selected providers will be invited to visit and choose from the available materials, with reasonable limits so multiple programs can benefit.

If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please email:

📧 [email protected]

Please include:• Program name• City/location• A short description of how the materials could support your program environment

Selected providers will be contacted with additional details.

We appreciate the important work providers do every day to create safe, welcoming environments where children learn and thrive.
