**Title:Credit & Collections Clerk - Sales Tax
CONTRACT TO HIRE
Pay rate 18.00-21.00 hour
Location-NW part of HOUSTON
Job Duties
• Expected to make calls 50+ per day
• Familiar with tax certificates
• Familiar with Get Paid, Oracle, JDE a plus but not required
• Tax experience

Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in Sales Tax preferably in multiple states - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills, initiative and technical tax expertise.
• Ability to work as an individual and in a team-oriented environment with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

**Title: Director of Crude Terminal Accounting
DIRECT HIRE PERM
Locations: Downtown

Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 Plus Bonuses - Negotiable

The requirements for this position are listed below

•Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA
MBA preferred
•Minimum of 12 years of experience, experience in the crude oil sector; background in public accounting a plus
•Strong computer skills and systems knowledge; SAP experience a plus; strong knowledge of terminal invoicing systems
•Strong general ledger experience
•Design, implementation and ex*****on of strong financial controls
•Must be able to proactively identify financial issues and drive towards solutions
Ability to interpret contract terms and apply the necessary accounting and control practices
•Ability to interact with Management and Operations in an advisory capacity as it relates to accounting policies and processes
•Ability to work independently with minimal and remote supervision
•Experience in the direct management of medium-sized teams including remote office locations
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
•Some travel to terminal locations in Texas and OK

Job Title: Accountant - Tax Accounting I
CONTRACT POSITION
Location: Beltway and Beechnut
Pay Rate Range: 22.00 USD - 25.00

Experience:
· This is a 3 months contact with the option to extend to 6 months.
· Weekly estimated overtime if needed may be up to 2 hours if needed.
· The work environment is conventional and the person will work alongside two other teammates.
· Three to five most important skills this person must have recent experience in are:
· Know how to do
-reconciliations
-must know sales tax, know how to research unknowns
-extremely organized

Job Duties:
· Account reconciliations.
· Review transactions and file refund claims/prepare amended returns with multiple taxing jurisdictions.

· Engaging, articulate professional, with solid organizational and time management skills, persuasiveness, problem-solving skills, articulate and possesses good writing skills.
