This past week Unified celebrated National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. We greatly appreciate all of our drivers for your hard work, commitment to safety, and for keeping our country moving!

We recently had our quarterly driver safety meeting! Many topics were discussed, one being the importance of all door latches being properly engaged when closing container doors to prevent them from accidentally opening while in transit. We also presented procedures on how to safely open a loaded container door, so potential unsecured cargo doesn’t fall and injure the driver. It’s very important to us that our drivers are reminded of ways to increase safety. We look forward to the next meeting!
