A dynamic international law firm has retained Alex & Red to recruit a Director of Sales. This highly regarded firm has more than 1,000 lawyers worldwide and a broadly diversified practice handling a range of high-stakes litigation, complex financial transactions, corporate, and technology matters for clients across industry sectors.
The Director of Sales leads a sales function of identifying and converting sales targets to become new, strategic Firm clients. This position serves as an extension of the existing external sales team and is responsible for identifying revenue opportunities with qualified and targeted potential clients.
This role focuses sales efforts on priority industry sectors as defined by the Firm, working closely with business development and marketing colleagues and report to the Firmwide Sales Director.
Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services sales and expertise in carrying and exceeding quotas. A bachelor's degree is required.

Our client, one of the largest and most innovative opera companies in the United States, has retained Alex & Red to recruit a Senior Director of Institutional Giving. This highly acclaimed opera company focuses on advancing operatic art while serving an ever-evolving audience. The company contributes to local and national cultural enrichment through a diverse and innovative program of performances, community events, and education projects, reaching a wide swath of the public.
The Senior Director of Institutional Giving will lead the opera company's institutional (foundation and government) fundraising efforts by managing a portfolio of key donors, overseeing a three-person team charged with preparing and submitting proposals and reports and developing a growth strategy, especially relating to new sources of foundation support in the region and nationally.
Requirements include seven or more years of experience in foundation grants, fundraising, sales, relationship management, customer or client service, or a related field and a bachelor’s degree.
