Let’s wrap up June and start off July with lots of fun at Hermann Park! ☀️ With volunteer opportunities, wellness programming, movie night, a garden gathering for July 4th, and a weekend of Kicking It at Hermann Park, there's lots for friends, families, and everyone to enjoy in Houston's favorite greenspace.

⚽ Monday, June 29 | 3 – 9 p.m.
Kick off the week with “Kicking It at Hermann Park,” presented by ExxonMobil! Join us on this Houston match day for a variety of free activities celebrating culture, community, and sport. Check our website calendar for details on the day's programming.

🚶‍♀️ Tuesday, June 30 | 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Take a Wellness Walk with Laura Conely of Urban Paths and enjoy a guided, conversational 3-mile stroll through the Park’s scenic trails. Friendly pups on leash are welcome! This event is free, but registration is required and space is limited.

🌱 Wednesday, July 1 | 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Give back at “Pitch in at Hermann Park”! Work alongside Conservancy staff on hands-on projects like planting, mulching, and cleanup. Small efforts that make a big impact. Sign-ups required.

🌸 Thursday, July 2 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Spend the morning in the Japanese Garden and help care for one of Hermann Park’s most beloved spaces. Volunteers assist with gardening, weeding, and beautification projects. All skill levels are welcome, and registration is required.

Join us this weekend of “Kicking It at Hermann Park,” presented by ExxonMobil! Enjoy free family-friendly programming, cultural experiences, and activities celebrating the spirit of the game as the global tournament wraps up in Houston. Visit our website calendar for the full schedule.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for “Moonlight Movie Nights,” presented by Goya Foods. This week's feature is “National Treasure” – a classic choice ahead of America’s birthday! Enjoy a free outdoor movie under the stars with family and friends.

🎆 Saturday, July 4 | 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Ring in America’s 250th anniversary with Red, White & Bloom in the iconic McGovern Centennial Gardens! This free celebration offers free treats, family-friendly activities, music, lawn games, beautiful garden strolls, and then a spectacular view of the Miller Outdoor Theatre fireworks show to cap off the evening.
