It’s been a great CALF! Mrs. Stover and Mrs. Gensic led a teen/tween workshop for the second year. This one started with a Pooh personality quiz. Then everyone read about their character and wrote from their character’s perspective about their day at CALF.

Today was day one of our Mockingbird Selection Day. Our task is to whittle down over 300 picture books published this year down to 20 of our favorites for K-2 students. We still have a ways to go tomorrow! Wish us luck.

Martinez teacher Mary Haney logged over 200 hours of reading on Beanstack this year! We know she will love having more time to read next year in retirement. Congratulations!
