There’s a side of me that not everyone gets to see: the professor 💛🦅👩🏼‍🏫

The one who looks at her students and doesn’t just see where they are…but where they can be. The one who believes, deeply and unapologetically, that every single student has greatness inside of them; especially those the world too quickly misunderstands.

During Autism Acceptance Month, I feel this even more 🧩

My students have taught me what perseverance truly looks like. They rise in spaces that weren’t always built for them. They communicate in ways that stretch us to be better listeners. They show resilience when expectations are low and doubt is loud.

And still…they push forward 💪🏼💕

I’ve watched them silence rooms that underestimated them. I’ve watched them master skills people said would be “too hard.” I’ve watched them prove over and over again that their potential is not defined by a label.

To my students: I see you. I believe in you. And I will always be in your corner reminding you that you are capable, powerful, and worthy of every opportunity this world has to offer.

Keep going. Keep growing. Keep proving them wrong. 💫
