Bay Area Quilt Guild

The countdown to our Scraps of Happiness Quilt Show continues! Even with a tiny "ooops" the quilt show will be on April 16 & 17th, so be sure to mark your calendars now!

BAQG was given the opportunity to help the G&T Academy at Sablatura Middle School in Pearland with one of their end-of-school projects. Each group selected a subject, researched and designed a quilt around it, and selected colors for their quilts that held specific meanings for the chosen subject. The presentations were given at special evening program(s) throughout the week. I loved seeing the kids giving their presentations in their professional attire. If you ever have the occasion to assist in this type of program, be sure to take advantage of it!
