A broken heart can be like a weapon if not healed properly and heartbreak can come in so many forms. It may be a result of relationships evolving, leaving a place you love, disappointment, a career coming to an end, children growing up...many times it's a result of certain expectations that what you cherish will never change. And then it does. Plans change, people change, circumstances change, and each of us as individuals change.
