Our Story

HISD/HCC Transition Program is a Houston Independent School program. The Office of Special Education collaborates with Houston Community College System-Central College to offer students with cognitive disabilities additional transition skills.

Students accepted into the program are high school seniors which have met graduation requirements. This one year program, offer students ages 18 to 22 an opportunity to continue their instructional and vocational training in a college environment.
