Our Adult Education Series concludes this Thursday with Linking Language and Learning, presented by Speech-Language Pathologist Stephanie Landis, MS, CCC-SLP. You will learn about the relationship between oral and written communication skills. This talk will go over basic definitions of speech and language, then discuss how deficits in oral language may have later impact on reading, writing and learning.

It was a fun-filled day at Camp Acorn, kicking off with our friend Monty the Magician captivating the crowd with a few tricks up his sleeve. Campers also had a blast making and popping huge bubbles and running through sprinklers. They ended the day with a refreshing popsicle treat - the perfect way to close the first week of camp!

With Camp Acorn opening tomorrow, our campers got a preview of what’s in store for them this summer at today’s Meet the Teacher! There were smiles all around as campers connected with each other ahead of an exciting camp experience filled with learning, growth and fun. We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for the first day of Camp Acorn!
