"I know most people say this, but I'm really passionate about helping people! I used to think that the only way to help people was by giving financially but I've realized that the way I love to help people is by inspiring and empowering them to reach their full potential and be happy! There are too many mediocre people in this world that allow fear to
hold them back. I understand but I wish everyone believed in themselves enough to chase their dreams. You have to be strategic and hustle. Dreams are achievable and if you ever think your dream is too big, remind yourself that a man has already landed on the moon. My goal is to one day be as influential as Oprah Winfrey and speak at events as well as have my own talk show or some sort of a platform. I'm currently in real estate and I love it because I deal with people everyday and well I get to help them with buying and selling property. My success in real estate will give me the credibility to be a speaker and share my journey with people, hoping to inspire them. And from these speaking engagements will come different opportunities such as my talk show. I'm all about being strategic when it comes to achieving my goals. It may not make sense to a lot of people, but everything I do is to get me closer to my bigger picture."

"Hey! I'm Mearaph, co-founder of Roots Reboot and i believe it’s time we start treating food for what it is! Glorious fuel. Growing up in a household with an Ethiopian mother and an African-American father exposed me to so many different flavors at a young age. I remember how my mom would always tell me why different foods were good for me and I really started seeing food as medicine. Voilá, I was sold on the power of food. Currently, I work closely with hundreds of Head Start kids in providing them with a great foundation for leading healthy and nutritious lives while also taking into account their special dietary needs, and monitoring their growth and eating patterns. It's been such a great experience finding my passion and I'm so happy to have helped create a platform to do so! My obsession with food safety, nutrition, and tupperware now has an outlet! I would have never found this career path if I didn't take that leap outside of my comfort zone. So glad I did! It's been amazing ever since." 🍍
