Alligator Gar Conservation and Education
"Conservation is the preservation of life on earth, and that above all else is worth fighting for"

I have been on a slow decline for the last 3-4 years. I thought it was related to the c4 vertebrae in my neck that got broken when I got shot many years back. I ended up going into the ER and turns out I have a mass in the middle of my brain causing brain swelling. I’m going to have to under go surgery to remove it in a day or two.
Due to the nature of the surgery this could be the last post I make to social media. If that’s the case I would like to urge my follows to remember how important it is to fight for the natural world especially when you see something you know is wrong. We only have this one planet there is no backup. Every single species plays an important role in the ecosystems they inhabit no matter how large or small of a role they appear to have. Regardless of what happens I lived a life I can be proud of and I have few regrets. I ask you to keep my family in your thoughts. 🦖
