People born between 1992 and 1999 got the perfect mix of life before and after the internet, and researchers are calling them "cultural tastemakers."

This group, called "Zillennials," grew up in a rare window. They're old enough to remember riding bikes until the streetlights came on, watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, and calling friends on house phones. But they're also young enough to have grown up with social media, smartphones, and streaming platforms.

Unlike older Millennials, who adapted to digital life as adults, and Gen Z, who were raised with screens from birth, Zillennials got the best of both. They understand in-person connection and digital culture equally.

Researchers say this makes them cultural bridges, influencing trends and communication styles across generations.
