Huffman Band Boosters

Spirit day at Raising Cane’s TOMORROW!!! Pick up the kids from the last day of school and grab lunch or dinner at Raising Cane’s and mention that you are there for the Huffman Band fundraiser to support us. Thank you!!

All band students going into 8th through 12th grades next year are eligible to participate in the Hargrave Marching Band. Participating in marching band is fun, but also builds grit, discipline, deep friendships, and teamwork.

Students will march in the halftime show at each football game, participate in the Homecoming Parade, play in the stands at games, and work to perfect their UIL contest show. Students will have the opportunity to perform the show in 4 contests in October.

Students who are interested in participating must attend rookie camp after school on Thursday, May 21. They and a guardian must also attend form signing night on Thursday, May 21 in the HHS band hall. The meeting will be held at 5:30pm for new marchers and Mr. Winebrenner will cover the important topics about band and answer questions. You can park closer to the Ag Barn and enter through the band hall door toward the back of the main building.

You will have the opportunity to sign forms allowing your child to participate, and will be able to pay for your child’s meal plan, travel fee, and order your child’s equipment. Payment plans are available.

Form signing night will be held this Thursday in the HHS Band Hall. Students must bring a parent or guardian and forms must be signed in order for your student to participate in marching band. Payment plans are available for those who need them. Please speak to a booster member to discuss payment plans. All students are required to attend.
