From duty boots to cowboy boots!

This afternoon brought us some unexpected members of the community to look after! Around 5 PM, three goats were found wandering in the middle of FM 1960 near Huffman Eastgate. Our firefighters and paramedics didn’t hesitate to step in and get them safely off the roadway.

Once they were secured… the next question was: “Now what?” 😄

With the help of our partners at Huffman ISD and the Huffman ISD Police Department—especially Chief Williams and his team, we were able to transport these escape artists to a safe “holding cell” at the Huffman Ag Barn until their owner can be located.
