Oklahoma health and law enforcement officials are warning retailers they could face enforcement action for selling kratom products that violate state law.

Officials say a law that took effect last year limits the potency of kratom products sold in Oklahoma. According to the State Medical Examiner's Office, kratom products have contributed to more than 50 deaths in Oklahoma since January 2025.

Consumers who believe a retailer is selling prohibited products are encouraged to report it to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
